Second Book Published with Dayton Nature Poet; Workshop Scheduled for April ‘09
My second joint-publishing project with friend and poet Stephen Emerick is now complete and offered for online purchase at Blurb.com. “Poems from Deep Woods” combines insightful and beautifully composed poems with select nature and landscape photographs that were taken in and around Hocking Hills, Ohio and the Inn at Cedar Falls. On April 15 - 17, 2009, Stephen and I will be conducting a joint workshop/retreat, combining instruction and guidance in nature/landscape photography with nature poetry. This will be a very unique workshop by taking nature photography one step further and helping both amateur and serious photographers refine their artistic vision, learn new photographic skills in the field and explore the written word of poetry as a way to enhance and support their visual discoveries by learning to also see through the awakened heart and not just with the lens of the camera.
