Apple - Small Business - Million Dollar Presentation

Apple - Small Business - Million Dollar Presentation, pg. 2

Here’s an excerpt:
“The close-ups of hand-wrought ironwork and painstakingly chiseled flagstone pathways exude quality. Those shots are pulled into iPhoto, where they’re tagged with keywords for easy retrieval. The Dreyfus team can then use the shots in print materials or send them off to a local web design firm for publication on the Dreyfus website.”

I said it before and I will say it again - if you are marketing yourself, products, services, etc. on the web, image is everything. First impressions are the most important.

A recent client - The Chimneys Restaurant in Miamisburg - hired me to photograph the interior of their facility for an online tour on their web site. Below are a few samples from the shoot. One of the techniques I like to employ when photographing interiors, whether residential or commercial, is the use of my studio strobe lights, triggered wirelessly using PocketWizards. The light produced by these strobes makes all the difference in the world. I also have a favorite lens I use for interiors, and when I notice fine details, I go in for the close-up and use of short depth of field.
